Here, is a truly underrated Disney classic in my opinion. I remember seeing this movie on DVD back in 2004. And, I was hooked. My favorite character is definitely Koda from this movie. I just love how this movie teaches us about different cultures. And, really dives into the message about brotherhood. Anyway, enough of my ramblings give your thoughts on Brother Bear?

I must agree that it is kind of underrated. It's not often that an animated film does a story that takes place in Native American times and talks about certain cultural beliefs that are of great significance (for example, the totem animal, which serves as a major plot point for the movie), plus the theme of brotherhood is rarely looked into a lot. This film seems to do that pretty well with such themes.

Yeah, that's what makes me enjoy this movie so much. It's just a very well put together movie. Plus I love the bond between Kenai and Koda. How it's basically like the odd couple at first. But, then they grow to love one another.

I have agree with you all. Though it's no longer one of my favorites, I like to watch it from time to time. It's a shame it's one of those films that winds up being forgetful later in the future.

After watching this movie today. I forgot how dark this movie really is. With all the deaths, the confession scene and the fact Denahi is trying to kill his own brother. Phil Collins music gives it a real depressing feel as well. It really is an underrated gem of a movie.

Sadly, I've never seen this movie. In fact, Wreck It Ralph was the first Disney movie I'd seen in the theater (non-Pixar) probably in about 12-13 years. I will have to check it out sometime.
