Shere Khan the tiger...now here's a bad guy that always gave me the willies. He's not hammy and over the top like other Disney villains. He's cold, and calculated. Now THAT is a scary bad guy! What do you guys think of him?

I must agree Shere Khan is one bad cat. He is also one of my favorites in the TV show Jungle Cubs. Plus he's a tiger so, what's not to like about Shere Khan?

Shere Khan is actually one of the rare times where I actually like a villain. I dunno what it is about him, but I just love him.

I'm not a fan of the Disney villain, so it's no surprise to me that a tiger like Shere Khan is one of the bad guys, especially when cats as I've notice are always pretty much evil. I like him better in Jungle Cubs.

I like him better in Jungle Cubs. Well, I think why movies tend to make cats villain's is because, there is a natural fear of cats from some people. So, they use that to their advantage. But, at the same time there are also cats who play the role of the protagonist as well.

The way I see Shere Khan, he's a powerful, bloodthirsty killer who still has a sense of honor and dignity to him. Part of that is because he was voiced by classic actor George Sanders, and no one can show more class and sophistication than a tiger like him.

Part of that is because he was voiced by classic actor George Sanders, and no one can show more class and sophistication than a tiger like him. And, that personality also lead to another legendary villain in Lion King known as Scar. Because, both Shere Khan and Scar have a lot of similarities. Except Scar is more weaker than Shere Khan is.

Shere Khan was built up as a force to be reckoned with, and I think he did his job quite well. If not for his fear of fire, the movie would have been rated R for obvious reasons >
