I just had the pleasure of seeing this movie yesterday and today thanks to the magic of Netflix. But, anyway all I can say is holy cow! What a movie this was. I can't exactly say what it was about this movie particularly. But, I'd say everything about it was phenominal the storytelling, the acting, the music, the swerves. This movie had me interested from start to finish. And, that's not an easy feat for me. Cause, I usually lose focus in movies after awhile. But, not with this movie. It just simply pulled me in and didn't let go. I cannot give the animation department enough credit for what they did in this movie. This should be in books of how CGI is properly done. Anyway, I've rambled on long enough. But, yeah just wanted to give my thoughts on this incredible movie. So, let's hear your thoughts on I guess the movie that ripped The Lion King a new one?

I loved it. It felt like I was watching one of the Disney Renaissance movies in theaters all over again. I'll just leave it at that because if I was to list every reason I loved this film, I'd be typing this post out for a week.

This film, is, without a doubt, one of the most engaging films I have ever seen to have come from Disney. It has such a grand appeal, that it really pulls you in with its incredible animation, catchy songs, memorable characters, interesting direction and very well-written story. I especially liked how this is no ordinary princess story and how it explores the theme of true love throughout the picture. Though it is a CGI film, it knows how to purely capture certain magical aspects that Disney is known for, like it does with the traditionally hand-drawn animated films. It's no wonder that it has often been considered as "The Lion King" of this generation; it truly is one of Disney's absolute best. For a rating, I'd give it a perfect 10 out of 10.
